The Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT) is a standardized exam designed to measure key aptitudes such as perceptual speed, spatial rotation, verbal reasoning, and aviation knowledge.
It is used to select applicants for officer commissioning programs like the Officer Training School (OTS) and the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC).
The AFOQT also helps determine eligibility for Pilot, Combat Systems Officer (CSO), and Air Battle Manager (ABM) training and contributes to a candidate’s Pilot Candidate Selection Method (PCSM) score.
All cadets and students on scholarship or enrolled in the Professional Officer Course (POC) are required to take the AFOQT.
At ASVAB Tutoring, we prepare you for every aspect of the AFOQT through focused lessons, realistic practice tests, and personalized instruction.
